Strange disappearances and rumors of bizarre occurrences in the small mining town of Mesa Roja have caught the attention of none other than the prestigious Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, after a geological research team has allegedly gone missing. Dr. Jedediah Aldridge, Curator of American Antiquities for the museum, has decried this as wild rumor, but nonetheless has gathered a team of hardy scientists and investigators to travel to New Mexico to look into the matter.

Synopsis: Take a leap back in time to an era when Jan & Dean and The Beach Boys ruled the airwaves and surf films dominated the drive-ins: Annette Funicello, Frankie Avalon, surf wax, and luaus. Spend endless summers Walking the Nose, Hanging 10, Shooting the Curl, just don’t Wipeout. Pump iron seaside, soak up the sun, or be named “Hero of the Beach.”
In this Bikinis, Boards & Bongos RPG adventure (RPG design from Rarr, I’m a Monster Publishing), the denizens of Shipwreck Beach on the island of Kaua’i – powerful waves, lush greenery and volcanic formations – are being driven out by toughs who want the beach for themselves, possibly for some sinister purpose. What do these interlopers want with the beach? How will the locals handle them, Daddy-O? And who keeps building all these weird sandcastles?
Quick, simple mechanics will be taught by The Big Kahuna (GM). Bonus character talent points will be awarded to those who can speak the lingo. Bikinis, board shorts, and Hawaiian shirts optional.
