Friday only allows for a 2 hour load in and will not allow adequate time for large or multiple booths. Friday is more suited and intended for artists. Therefore NO vendors with inline, corner, premium or front row booths will be allowed to load in on Friday.
IF YOU WAIT UNTIL FRIDAY TO LOAD IN, THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES THERE WILL BE ENOUGH TIME TO UNLOAD DEPENDING ON HOW MANY ARTISTS ATTEMPT FRIDAY LOAD IN. IF YOU MISS IT OR DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO UNLOAD BEFORE THE DOCK CLOSES YOU WILL FORFEIT YOUR BOOTH SPACE. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Fire Marshal inspection 11am / Show opens at 11:30 for VIP
All vendors must be set up and ready for show open by 11am on Friday. This is when the fire marshal does his inspection and will not allow the show to open if there are materials in the aisle ways.
Convention Center Marshaling Move-In/Out Procedures are attached below and must be followed to enter the convention center dock for load in/out. The address and directions to the marshaling lot are on this as well.
• All vendors must check in with Vendor load in services before advancing to their booth. Vendor load in services will provide them with their booth assignments, badges, and any other information needed. **BOOTH ASSIGNMENTS ARE NOT GIVEN UNTIL LOAD IN **
Once checked in, a Vendor Volunteer will walk each vendor to their booth.
(Extra booth badges available for purchase here at $45 each. Limit 2 additional per booth)
• ALL vendors must bring proof of payment. This can be in the form of a PayPal receipt or Square receipt or other payment receipt. ANY vendors who do NOT have receipt of payment, will have to wait for verification from management.
• Vendors have between 45 min-60 min to unload their vehicle unless otherwise authorized by show management or by convention center security. Security will catalog vehicles and will begin announcing when vehicles need to move. If a vehicle is not moved within the allotted time, convention center security reserves the right to have the vehicle towed at the expense of the owner. PLEASE UNLOAD AND MOVE YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE STARTING TO SET UP YOUR BOOTH.
• Neither Convention services nor Fanboy Expo lend out dollies or carts. You must bring your own cart or rent one from the convention services group
• Additional tables and chairs are all available from the decorator. Please see attached Exhibitor Kit form. (You ARE allowed to bring your own additional tables and chairs)
!!!DO NOT GIVE THE TABLE OR CHAIR YOU ARE PROVIDED TO ANOTHER VENDOR!!! If you do not need the ones that are provided they must be given back to the decorator. Giving them to another vendor will result in additional charges to the vendor and yourself.
UTILITIES :You will also find attached all KCC utilities forms. Please contact the KCC for any assistance with internet or electricity needs. The KCC will have a list of booth assignments so there is no need to have them for ordering purposes.
PARKING • Vehicles can be moved to Locust Street Garage OR Blackstock Lot. Box Trucks and Trailers are not able to park in Locust Street Garage • Large Trucks and trailers may only park at the Blackstock lot. • Vendors may have to park away from the convention center and walk over • Locust St Garage offers free parking on weekends and after 7pm on weekdays • There is NO free parking at any hotel or at the church. In addition, there is no parking at the UT LOT on the other side of the Poplar Lot.
Poplar lot is available on Wednesday and Thursday but not on Friday morning from 12am – 12:30pm ** IF YOU LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE IN POPLAR LOT ON FRIDAY MORNING, IT WILL BE TOWED AND TICKETED** Poplar lot will be available after 12:30 PM on Friday.

FOR MOVE OUT:
• Absolutely no vendor may load out until Knoxville Convention Center Security give permission • 5pm Begins load out (Lining up at blackstock lot can begin at 4:30). WE WILL NOT GIVE OUT LOAD OUT PASS UNTIL 4:15PM. Vendor Load out passes will be given at the info booth
Vendors May load up their booths and THEN retrieve vehicles to load out Sunday evening • Knoxville Security will again be granting a Maximum time a vehicle can be in the loading dock area.
WE HIGHLY ADVISE LARGER BOOTHS AND MULTI BOOTHS TO TAKE THEIR TIME AND ALLOW FOR SMALLER BOOTHS THAT CAN QUICKLY LOAD OUT TO GO FIRST. If enough of the smaller booths load out then the KCC will allow vehicles of larger booths to drive directly onto the floor to get their merchandise.
