Columbus Convention Center
Booths will be located in the Columbus Convention Center. Fanboy Expo will provide each 10’x10’ pipe and draped space with two (2)exhibitor badges, one (1) 8’ table and two (2) chairs with each booth space.

* PLEASE NOTE NO GENERAL VENDOR SALES ALLOWED IN ARTIST BOOTHS or Crafter/Creator Booths. These booths are limited and reserved ONLY for Comic Artists, Illustrators, Writers, Publishers, Handcrafted Items, Cosplayers or Filmmakers. If you do not abide by this rule management has the right to collect the difference in a regular booth or not allow you to set up.

Beginning at 2PM on Thursday, the loading dock bays will be opened to start load in. (LOADING DOCK DOES NOT OPEN UNTIL 2PM, IF YOU ARRIVE EARLY, YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY UNTIL THAT TIME) The loading dock bays will be FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. We will load in as many vendors as possible at one time. When it is your turn, you will be escorted to your vendor spot and be allowed to start unloading. You will be given up to 45 minutes to unload and then you must move your vehicle. No vehicles will be allowed to drive into the space and must unload at the dock. No dollies or carts will be available for rent so please plan accordingly. DO NOT START SETTING UP YOUR BOOTH UNTIL YOUR VEHICLE HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE LOADING DOCK. VENDORS WHO TAKE LONGER THAN 45 MINUTES COULD BE TOWED AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE.
Load in will continue Friday morning at 7:30AM. If you arrive too late on Thursday, you could be asked to come back Friday morning. Load in will continue until 1:30PM with the loading dock closing at 1 PM. IF YOU ARE NOT SIGNED IN BY 1 PM ON FRIDAY, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO LOAD IN AND WILL FORFEIT YOUR BOOTH SPACE.
All booths must be set up and ready for the show open. VIPs are allowed entry 30 minutes prior to the show start at 2:30PM.
We highly recommend that you have vendor insurance while vending at our event. Neither Fanboy Expo or the Columbus convention center will not be held responsible for any loss, theft, or injury including but not limited to personal injury, and damage including but not limited to property damage.
All vendors must have a vendors license and pay Ohio sales tax. It is the vendors responsibility to collect and submit sales tax according to state law. Instructions for both can be found at the site listed below. Any inquiries should be addressed to the Ohio Department of Taxation.
No parking will be allowed at the loading docks. There are several parking facilities in the area. Attached is a map and list. There is also a link posted below. Artists and Vendors will need to go to a parking garage or East Lot at their own expense.
EXTRA VENDOR BADGES
Extra vendor badges will be available for purchase at the loading dock. Each space comes with 2 and you may purchase 2 additional badges per booth space. $35 each cash or card.
Utilities such as electricity and internet are services of the Convention center. Below is the link. Any questions or concerns regarding these services should be directed to the Columbus convention center.
FLOOR MAP AND BOOTH PLACEMENT
Booth assignments are made by the promoter prior to the show. A floor map will be released to our social media pages a couple of days before the show date. We will try to email that when it is available. Booth placements are not subject to change when the floor map is released or at the show.
EXTRA TABLES AND CHAIRS
Each booth or table comes with one table and 1-2 chairs. Extra tables and chairs will be VERY limited. If any are available after setting the floor, the decorator will rent them for a fee. We recommend that you bring these items with you if possible.
IF YOU DO NOT NEED THE TABLE OR CHAIRS THAT ARE PROVIDED, PLEASE TURN THEM BACK IN TO THE DECORATOR OR STAFF. DO NOT GIVE THEM TO ANOTHER VENDOR.

Sunday 4/24 – 5PM – 11PM
Load out will begin at 5PM when the show floor closes. Once your booth is packed, you will check in at the info booth. There you will be given permission to come to the loading dock to load up. Again, we will try to get as many people as possible to load out at once. No vehicles will be allowed to drive into the space and must load out through the loading dock. NO dollies or carts will be available for use so please plan accordingly.
NO ARTIST OR VENDOR WILL BE PERMITTED TO TEAR DOWN OR LOAD OUT PRIOR TO SHOW CLOSE AT 5PM SUNDAY EVENING. NOT ONLY DOES IT POSE A SAFETY ISSUE, BUT IT IS ALSO NOT FAIR TO ATTENDEES WHO HAVE PAID FOR A FULL CONVENTION. WE TAKE THIS MATTER VERY SERIOUSLY. ANY VENDOR WHO DOES ATTEMPT TO DO SO WILL BE BANNED FROM ANY AND ALL FUTURE FANBOY EXPOS.
The loading dock will close at 11PM. All vendors need to be finished packed and loaded out at this time.
